Hey Jennie, I was told to pack warmly or at least bring a sweat shirt because both the venue & the pool room are kept very cool for the players comfort level... aka railbirds freezer. :D I'm cold natured so I guess I'll pack a lightweight jacket. I figured I would ask you before I bother bringing it into the venue & then not even needing it.

See ya tomorrow night!

It makes players also uncomfortable.
I never came accross a tounament place or pool room that has learned to have comfortable climate like any Banks( financial institutions).Every wrong doer has an explanation as to why he did that way.I am really tired of the pool hall climates and explanations.I am glad that u took some protective clothing with u.Have fun.

Timberly, it has been very hot and humid during the daytime here. Yesterday, it was 98 degrees during the day. At night, the humidity level outside is also uncomfortable. However, in the tournament room, they do keep the air-conditioning cool and comfortable for the players. So it is most definitely cooler when you are inside, and you will need a sweater or a jacket.

Last night, there was a major thunderstorm, and it rained cats and dogs. Today, the temperature is supposed to be in the 80's, much nicer and less humid.

Looking forward to seeing you, Timberly. You will not regret making the trek to Chesapeake Beach this year. It is, without a doubt, the BEST tournament I have ever been to. Not only is the caliber of play topnotch, but there is always something going on. So pack your bags and get on the road. See you soon!

Hello,
When it is 98 degrees out side and if one has to have sweater or a jacket inside the room means it is too ....cold.It is NOT necessary to keep it that way unless many players weigh 350 lbs who do not feel cold.I am tired of poor climate controls in the pool playing places. One should learn from the Banks,on how to create a comfotable climate inside a building.
