I will be heading up to the BCA for the last few day of the event as i will be traveling through Las Vegas, and just could not mis stopping for a day or two.

My plan is to visit all the vendors, Cue merchants, Jack Justis, AZB Room, etc.

I recall a while back a bunch of members of AZB purchased the Atrox Cue Maintaince Tool, and I was wonder what owners think of thir Atrox Tool, and how it work per advertisement.

As it is one of the items I would like to take a serious look at while in Las Vegas this week.

I'd have to say it's so-so. The tip burnisher is just terrible. Because its in two halves, the seams messed with the side of my tip.

I can sell you mine used it one day ....

1. tip ***** to small
2. cant replace scuffer grit mines full after one hard tip.
3. sides are not flat to measure rail rubber hieght.
4. havn't tried the burnisher looks scary
5. sorry i odered it online should have seen it in person first.

I think it is a good idea\design just sloppy productions just another cheap round wheel.

Well, I guess I am the odd ball because I like mine.

spray simple green on the scuffers, then rinse with water. This will clean out the scuffers.

What would really clean them out is brake cleaner. However I know brake cleaner has a tendency to eat/melt some types of plastics. I like my atrox too much to spray the brake cleaner on it. maybe one of you that think it is junk already can try it and see what happens?

I'm not really fond of mine. The things at the end that measure if your tip is nickel or dime radius isn't accurate. Put a coin to it and see. Also, even IF you scuff with it you'll see that the scuffer might be the right size, but the measurer is not. The tip burnisher isn't that good either. The channel is shorter than the ultimate tip tool, more cone-like and it's two half cones you have to squeeze closed to use. The tip picks aren't bad but why need two? I think they tried too hard on this product and I don't think it's worth the price.

As far as the promotion deal one of the bottles of slicker they sent me was empty. In sum, the promotion was a good deal and the product is well... not worth the price. I'm looking to get rid of mine.

Same thing here.
Plastic is too soft.
Picks... why 2?
Scuffers are as great or better than the williard (because of a solid base).
The promotion was good.
35$ for the tool only.... huuuummmm, not so sure.

Pass, pass, pass, pass

Having just got to a place where I can post all I will say is the Atrox Tool was a PASS for me at the BCA.

I did make it to the BCA for a few days, and was lucky that two of the vendors there had the Atrox for sale.

Both let me touch the tool, and look at the literature that comes with the tool.

I did not purchase one, and personally saw nothing special about the Atrox over the few tools I am currently using.

I will sticking with my Dime Willard, Q Smooth Burnishing Films, Leather Shaft Burnisher from Jack Justis, a New Dollar Bill, and my Trusty Tip Taper.

I did get to see Justis Pro-Lite Cue Cases, (DROOLand have given up one vice to save for a Justis Pro-Lite. Ha Ha

There was this on Cue Dealer that I think was called Connoisseur of Cues, and it was hard to leave his booth without buying a new Cue, but there were just too many choice, and just could not pick one VBG.

Lots of impulse items for sale at the BCA, and got too see some great 8 Ball played.
