Reels

I have no doubt that these are worth what you say. I am just wondering what makes them worth so much more than the Shimanos that I pay 50. for. They look a lot alike. Just curious. Butterflycues
 
Stella's are the Rolls Royce of spinning reels.

As Fletch says- it's all about the bearings-

"Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State."
 
All I can say is that they sell for 1000.00-1100.00 on eBay and @ Cabela's. I took these and a laptop in trade for my Mike Webb cue. And I am trying to trade or sell them on here. Looking for something of equal value in trade so don't be afraid to offer up some trades because you neber know. Send them in.

Not being able to afford $1000 reels I learned to back reel. I don't load anything in a canoe that I can't afford to lose.
 
Very Nice - The Bugatti of Reels !

I live in Detroit Michigan, I think Summer came and went !!!

All kidding a side though, a good Rod and Reel combination is very similar to a good cue, you want to feel the Hit !!!

For those who think this reel is expensive, check out some good Fly Fishing equipment :wink:
