As for Rudolf Wanderone... I've said everything I wanted to say... He couldn't play, he was a pretender, he was obnoxious, he wanted to be in the mob and they rejected him so he obsessed on Mosconi kind of like this PoolChump idiot obsesses on me.
BUT (read this folks) ---> The worst thing he did was: destroy pool's future via its reputation and that's why (in 2016) you can go to any big tournament, walk around the parking lot and see top-shelf players sleeping in their F***ing cars!

You've read a few snippets about Fats on Wikipedia and now you know what his life goals were and what he was thinking? You personally polled his fans? You played him so many times, you know his speed?
If you think Fatty played weak, you don't know much about his game, and who he ran with as a kid. No, wiki wont tell you that...
Or how much money he took home from Johnston City.....
Or how he stepped up to defend the entire Johnston City crew.....
Mosconi was INDEED the everlasting undeniable champion of pocket billiards, but he was a corporate puppet for what could be the biggest traitor in the history of the game. He didn't build a brand or a name for himself, Brunswick did.
And he was a jerk.
When Fats came to town people FLOCKED to see him. Young, old, women, children, dogs, aunt Nellie, everyone loved his goofy ass. Why? Because every time you turn around he was helping another cause or charity.
And whether you like it or not, Fats was on network TV probably 50 or 60 times rubbing elbows with the Hollywood elite, and the public LOVED it.
Mosconi did no such thing. And while he remains the master of the table, Fats brought FAR more positive attention to the game than Mosconi ever did.
