Auto Liquid Ceramic Coating

I've not tried any of the Auto Ceramics but have used the Ceramics designed for pool cues many times with great success.

Let me be more specific, has anyone used it on the finish of a forearm of a cue (not the shaft).

It's fine. Doesn't really do anything special. If your finish isn't shiny, it won't make it much better.

The ceramic products are made to protect from weather. Unless you are leaving your cue out in the rain, you aren't getting any benefit over carnuba or renaissance wax.

I've only used it on shaft work, either new or refinish, never on butts, yet. All of the work I've used this coating on have turned out great. I'm about 1-1/2 years into using this product with great results.

I've used the auto spray ceramic on the butt and shaft.
Shines the butt a bit and slicks the shaft.
It's safe from my experience.

I was thinking about getting some and giving it a try. I was wanting to try it on a rhino shaft the Carbon keeps rubbing off on to my hands. I was thinking this might stop it.
Kinda why I was asking....the blanks I have been buying are great....but.... the carbon dust from the shaft is mixing with the oils from my customers hands and making a sludge kinda feeling. It wipes off but it's annoying. Others that use a glove have no issues, just the bare handed people, like myself are experiencing it.

It's unfortunate. It's a great material for a pool cue shaft but it seems to have this flaw and it's not just your blanks, seen it for small and large cf shaft makers as well.
Someone is going to come up with a way to seal them that works well, lasts, maybe permanent and still feels the way a player wants them to feel. Maybe they'll make some money on it.
McDermott and Viking are both taking a stab at adding an outer layer that doesn't expose the carbon fibers. The first version McDermott did didn't work that well in terms of feel. Maybe the new one will be better.

I finally gave some a try and it worked very good. I didn't have no black marks on my hands and I played for a couple of hours.
