Avatars, anyone else feel some are in poor taste?

This is the bad rep remark that Sweets sent to me

"No wonder women don't post here. We can't be comfortable. What does that have to do with pool? And yes, you can tell everyone I red-dotted you for it. I am just so disgusted."

Unbelievable :confused: :confused:

And now I know she sent that message with the bad rep hoping I would post about it so she could get the attention she was after, and I fell for it.

And if she was on a beach no one would give it a second thought. Instead, she is in a provocative pose on a pool table. IMO, that makes it inappropriate. Don't misunderstand, I think Jennifer is a spectacular looking lady and I love the picture but when my step-daughter walks past and hollers that "Brian is looking at porn on the computer" and everyone comes running and I have to explain what an avatar is, it's an issue.

It's not a double standard statement. it's an obviously human statement saying Marissa's avatar depicts a sexual act! if you can garner 6 out of 10 people here that says that the pic is not sexual in nature, then I'll gladly enroll myself in a sexual orientation class and change my perspective about the matter. :D

Well, I like the Avitars with the very nice racks. Sweet Marissa posted that she openly dates women, It makes me wonder why she wouldn't like a picture of a nice rack also? Guys generally like the pictures because they are sexually applealing, So would't a woman who dates other women find it sexually applealing also? maybe I just don't get the problem.

I agree I dont buy it that she is just gay and proud.

Marissa who are you trying to impress? I mean who do you want to show that you are proud to be gay?
 
I am sure it has less to do with her sexual orientation and more to do with the objectification of women as single-faceted sexual objects.
 
actually, hey if you really like your avatar and it is allowed by the mods and admin fine...I can avoid it and it's no big deal, who am I to complain?

I suppose you owe us no explanation, personally if it is an issue it isnt my place to say something, the mods will if they want....

No what this whole thing is about is Sweets wanting attention, be it good or bad, and wanting to see how much crap she can cause before getting banned again. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

see now thats the thing...people are forced to accept things, or at least fake it, b/c its wrong to tell somebody that they are wrong.... that is the way things are today.... and to be quite honest I HATE IT....

I have a habit of calling a spade a spade....and this spade is way wrong...
I stand behind GEN. Peter Pace and his thoughts on the homosexual life style.... I know I might catch some flack here for that.. but its the truth...and it is also the view of our Armed Services and their Commander. It is my right to voice my opinion if you dont like it..... well you have to deal with me the same way I have to deal with you.....

My avatar, albeit easier to look at than Marrissa's :D , is just a wrong as hers... I only have it here as a standing retort to marrissa's.... if I have broken a rule I will gladly remove it from the forum....along with marissa...


BTW if this thread lasts..it should go to the NPR

should conform to the websites rules for such.

Stones ... I love yours, but I am a BIG dog lover. I love to get to know a dog, and see what type of personality they have.

2 guys kissing, is offensive ... period I would also not like to see
some stocky homely baby or butch dyke kissing her fluff either. Both are in poor taste. Guys imagine 2 beautiful women kissing, but in real life, it is not
that way.
 
How about an option to block individual avatars? I'm not sure if that's feasible.
