No I don't find it offensive but since you asked I do find it and others rude, annoying or unnecessary. I am sure others would agree.
I am also sure many believe it is their right to post whatever.
Those with questionable Avatars need to relize that the visual aspect of your avatar is the first impression that other posters get of you. So be it if that is the way you wish others to think of you.
I have no need to see among others Gun to dogs head, Kid on the toliet, Lady at urinal, Guys OR Girls kissing, Cheesecake Photos, and Most of all an annoying flashing photo that makes me have to hit the ESC key everytime his posts come up.

Can this thread please be banned already? Seems like it's gone from avatars, to the bible, to attacking SM directly, to humor (finally) and then the inevitable repetition of posts.

There aren't that many sides to this debate, and frankly there doesn't seem to be any reason to warrant 13+ pages for this thread.

It's a pretty open-and-shut case in my opinion. I'm gay and slightly biased on this topic, so I'll keep my opinions to myself -- but it seems the thread has really evolved to personal attacks and semantical debates. Let for the forum moderators take any action if necessary. The rest of us should stay out of this.

Tell me about it. The quality of the posts that I see on this site grows exponentially weaker with each passing day. Some of our best posters are gone without even a hint of a thought to coming back. And after reading some of this thread and a few others, I can't really say I blame them.

Nowadays, I stick around just to piss people off.

You were the first to mention God so if anyone has an objection to the religious direction this thread is headed in, point your fingers at Neil.

I'd like for you to do me two favors:

1) Point to the passage in the bible where god specifically says "Homosexuality is wrong and immoral" because I would really like to see it.

2) Then, after you have done so, put that bible down and ask yourself this: just because YOUR god may deem homosexuality as immoral doesn't mean that every god from every religion in every culture the world over has the same standpoint. Remember Neil, 33% of the world may be Christian but that leaves 67% of the world's population believing in another god or gods.

Your assumption that the entire world's population subscirbes to the practices and beliefs of YOUR God is remarkably foolish and ignorant.

So, I'll say it again Neil and I hope for your sake, you will listen this time around. (And this time, I'll use caps so you don't miss it):
