Avatars, anyone else feel some are in poor taste?

I am gonna bring my "sexy" pic back if she dosent have to get rid of those dudes making out ....

what's really going on ?.......

While i understand that there are rules, it is still amazing to me, that some people can't handle certain images.

ESPECIALLY when the same people that would gladly ogle a sexually suggestive avatar that depicts women in a certain pose or exposing a certain amount of flesh are all sorts of bent out of shape because someone puts up a picture of men in a sexually suggestive pose.
I mean, this is the modern age, and if people can handle one side of it, and not the other, that is completely on them.

There is really no difference between the 2 girls kissing and the 2 guys kissing, except the degree of discrimination imparted on each of them.

As for people that get upset at the objectification of women, lets not forget that some of those women AGREED to pose for those pictures, and I'd be willing to bet that they were more then happy to shove their assets into the camera and are proud of it. They are more likely then not, going to use their assets to try and open doors to gain an advantage if they can.

So if there is objectification of women going on, women have to take some of the blame for it. It's not just the men, despite whatever womens study courses might say.

Just for the record, I am against all forms of hypocrisy, so I will avoid all ogling of avatars, even the cute little puppies.

All pics to show the masses, all of us with very big a$$es,
Pics of guys doing brokeback, pics of guys being cuehacks,
Who cares about these pics I ask, being politically correct is such a task,
Most are done in jest, even the girls packing some chest,
If it bunches your panties and makes you hot, hit the button of avatars not,
Stop the whining and the malice, go shoot pool because you need the practice.. :D

some stocky homely baby or butch dyke kissing her fluff either. Both are in poor taste. Guys imagine 2 beautiful women kissing, but in real life, it is not

There are many avatar's that are hilarious and made with good taste and I haven't found any of them offensive whatsoever. But frankly, I don't care, I'll just have another beer.... mmm, beer ! :p

Absolutely. Accepted and if so desired, ignored. Who decides what is right and wrong? What's right for one person may be considered wrong for another. We all have to live with it.

After reading all the responses to this thread, I have come to the conclusion that SM was just trying to prove a point.. I am not sure "Why" after directly being un-banned for taking pot shots at me, why she would come back using that avatar other than trying to prove a point?

SM and I are far from friends, actually you could say that we have a mutual distaste for each other, but I am being open minded, I think that she (like some people, not me) is very offended by all the T&A avatars on this forum. Personally, I could give a S**T what people use as their avatar, (unless it is racial, or has a lude sexual act, or involves hurting another human) But some people get bent over that stuff!

So, with this being said, I guess all is fair. If some men are allowed to use 2 women kissing then so be it! If she wants's to use that (distasteful) avatar, she should be permitted to do so.

OY! Did I just say that!

Maybe I'm all wrong and she want's to be kicked to the curb again? Who knows? Must my opinion, FWIW!
