Bill Grassley @ Cornerstone cues.
I am going to put my two cents on Bill Grassley.
I have been involved in high cues for several years and invested a ton of both time and money in this hobby. I have also gotten to be close personal friends with several top cuemakers. Bill Grassley has also become a good friend to me and in return I hope I have been an asset to him in establishing his business. A business in my mind that has changed the structure of the high end cue market. And there is one reason most people have a problem with that. JEALOUSY. I witnessed this at the DCC, Valley Forge and other events. As well as on this board. At this years DCC, he moved as many high end cues as probably everyone else combined. That's what he does, he moves cues. And it causes dissention. His business philosophy in a nutshell is, he hits singles and doubles. Lots of them. And other dealers and people who sell cues on a smaller level don't like it. They want to hit home runs. That is fine, so they either change the way they do practice or watch Bill sell cues. Their choice. The thing I like about Bill's philosophy is two things, it generates interest in the hobby we all love and it creates a comptetive market in which we should also appreciate.
Is Bill perfect? No, but neither am I or anyone else on this board. The only perfect person, that comes to mind, has a birthday on December 25. Bill has a good heart and in my opinion if he makes a mistake it's because he has too many logs on the fire and spaces it. But, I know one thing, people better get use to him moving alot of sh#*, 'cause he ain't going away.
Sincerely, Jim Kissinger
