AZ Room - First Weekend '07

[landshark77]

I was wondering the same thing. Is it ok for me to swing by the room to meet some AZER's?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because I am NOT there!!!! You going to Philly in March?

Wish I was still there Ummagumma. I know that you and I would be seeing each other again at 7am after more long nights of sweating the action. Its 9:00 am and I am at work :-(

That is a bummer. It was nice meeting ya there. More great action has occurred, it's probably been mentioned in various other threads. Chris Bartrum and Darrel Appleton (don't remember the numbers but Appleton won), Duel v Reyes in 1P. Race to 10 for $4,500 with Duel getting 10-7 spot. He won that.

I will arrive tonight Thursday 1-11! Is it cool to come by the Az room ? I think there some dicussion about money for the room and not sure how that applies!! I hope to meet some follow AZers for this is my first year!!

Hi Kevin! You're welcome to drop by and socialize with us!

Thanks for the updates, Umma. Sounds like I would have had fun in the banks too, eh?

Ya would! Some great bankers here!

There was this funny action match, if it hasn't been already mentioned in another thread. Some kid had $9.41 and wanted someone to break him. So someone finally decides to play him, and several people jokingly yell out to post it. So they do a game of banks and the other guy has to bank one handed (that guy went hill-hill with Reyes in 9B match but ultimately lost when he decided to switch his break format to go for a 9B snap, and ended up sending CB off the table). The one-handed guy won.
