AZ US Open Player Update 7/16

We are getting there folks. We will definitely be able to help a deserving AZ member make it to the US Open this year. We have $505 in cash, a cue to auction, and more checks coming in everyday. AZ Mike is working on the auction site and an AZ shirt for the player/players. I have listed the sponsors and votes below. Again, I would like to thank everyone helping to make this idea become a reality. By the way, this was not my idea, I am just a helper.

Thanks for the continued updates... btw, my wife forgot to drop the check in the mail... it's going out today.

Have we gotten any feedback from bluemarlin on the possibility of free airfare for the payer(s)?

I believe you’re allowed to vote for whoever YOU want Don. Doesn’t need to be fair or drawn out of a hat. It’s your independent vote and your $25. Just make a well-informed decision based on your extensive pool playing experience and forum knowledge.

Rick, someone who donated asked me to make a selection for them. I have put in my vote. I was just explaining that other than just give someone elses vote to a player of my choice, I would let the ol'lady pick it out of a hat. This seems fair to me. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Nothing new to report today. I can appriciate the "Calm Before The Storm".
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Satman ( SAM ) will only need about $600 to make it in. I mention this because if we don't have enough to , lets say, pay the full amount for one player, we will be able to put up partial for two. Opinions and ideas are welcome. Thanks again, Purdman :cool:
 
Still waiting to see a complete list of players in the running...I thought there was more than three...

I dont think it is going to matter much in the outcomes as I have already posted twice professing my interest and didnt even get an acknowledgement :( ....but anyways.....

I would not need travel funds either as I could get a ride down with a local pool fan.
