AZB king of Alabama

seems to me the only fair way to have a real get together is to do it around the central part of the state(preferably the montgomery area, since they have 2 rooms with good tables. I'm sure that if that happens, myself and the other guy here that plays will be more than happy to put in an appearance, and match up-Matt

I like this. We do have three good AZ posters from AL. My money has to be on Matt "Runs Out Like Water" Bulfin. No offense to Merky or Gpeezy.

Just to make sure I don't knock there action; none of these guys have ever won an AL state championship and are not the best players in AL. They are however the best also on AZB.

Ha you don't have enough posts. I ended up watching the miss universe pageant and fell asleep. I needed it though. Considering I slept in a pool room sat night. Search the AZB king thread so you can get a grip on exactly what this is about.

I have to say I'm probably behind both of these guys, but, they are gonna have to shoot em in the hole regardless. I wouldn't mind getting a little pumped up before we do anything. I don't wanna get beat once and go home. I'd like to be able to pounce back a little. Scotty, Harold has my number feel free to hollar at me whenever.

posts smosts... i got you on here by 2 years... counting southern billiards board... i think i'd qualify... if i had to guess you and daniel are the only 2 from alabama with over 100 posts.

i read a little of it... it's all around right? 9 or 10 ball... uno pocketo... straight pool... let's get it on. Montgomery is fine with me.
 
As far as I am concerned, join date is just as good as # of posts. And Mark, if you really like Mike, can I bring Scotty?:thumbup: . Seriously, we oughta try to get some dates together, and I'll even drive over to monkeytown, and talk to the room owners, let em get us some benefits like AL only tourneys for a weekend, etc. I would think that they(or at least 1 room) would love to have a bunch of us for a weekend. Lemme know what yall think-Matt

Can I play!!! I am planning a trip back. Maybe pool one weekend and football on another with BBQ and southern cooking in between!

I still feel like I am from Alabama. heck my nickname IS alabama!
I would be dead money anyway.

It really doesn't matter to me. That was just a way of trying to keep it as a AZB forum member deal. I think time as a member OR amount of posts would be fine. If my ass drives all the way to Montgomery I'm getting a little gas kick. Either that or wait until there is an event down that way. I know there is more action there so some other line on a player would work also. I need to get a few things in line anyway. I may be a month out on getting to travel anywhere and gamble. How are we gonna figure out who plays? Or are all of you foaming at the mouth to play me? I promise I could care less. Saddle up!

2. Frank-come on down, we'll get ya into something
3. Gpeezy-as far as who plays who, the possibilities are endless. We already had a match that was Auburn vs Montgomery, and both myself and the crab will play everybody from Al except a handful even anyways.
4. Anyone that is interested, lets try to come up with a date that doesn't interfere with tourneys, jobs, or most importantly,,,,,,, FOOTBALL.

I not messing up a football weekend with pool. You gotta know that! Sundays are for recovering from Saturdays and betting on the Pro idiots.

How many from Alabama post on here. I know of about 8-10. Might be all the computers in Alabama :p
 
i'm not foaming at the mouth... u have just mentioned a couple or 3 times that u wanted to play again.

i'm not for barring anyone... i don't care if scotty T... mike... roadman... harold or any of them play... i was just answering your open invite on the first message.

the alabama amateur is coming up in a couple weeks in birmingham... that'd be pretty central if nobody from south AL is in, although the equipment isn't as good as montgomery and huntsville
