AZB meeting in Milwaukee?

Pool? Never heard of it..

I'm willing to organize a gathering in Milwaukee if enough people are interested. Comment on here or email me at nickamay@gmail.com if you're interested. I'm thinking something in the beginning of summer, I'm sure I can get a local pool hall to work with us a bit and there are plenty of very cheap hotels and motels right by the airport. (you won't be there much anyways, admit it). I am always willing to take a little help as well.
 
Sounds like an interesting idea. I'll definitely take a trip down, always like meeting a few new faces. Drive from here in the Fox Valley isn't too bad, only 90 minutes or so. Haven't hit up the Milwaukee rooms yet, most of my playtime is either at home, on crappy bar tables, or at the Varsity Club in Oshkosh.
 
I'm thinking Romines, maybe sometime in April or May, when we are less likely to have snow storms.. So long as people are interested, I'm more than willing to start organizing it, I'll probably try to draw some of the Chicago crowd too...Even though we're better than that. lol

I would definitely be an attendee! By the way...anyone else from Milwaukee going to the event in Oshkosh tomorrow? I am probably renting a car to go myself. I thought I was riding with some other players but they have backed out of going.

when'll you be back from your trip? I'm also hoping to spread the word about AZB a little more at Romines...I'm pretty sure everyone I've played has heard about it by now. :-) from the looks of all the league schedules and such, it might have to be late May or even early June but I'll let everyone know once I talk to the decision makers.
 
I'll be back in Milwaukee from May 18th - June 6th or so. I'll keep looking to see the dates you guys figure out.

I'll be back mid June. I'm going straight to Vegas at the end of May for the VNEA Team Tourney and the ACS Singles.
 
I'm in. Romine's doesn't have Diamonds tho. Just make sure it's not during the BCA Nationals or I can't make it.
