AZB members on Google Maps?

I thought I read a thread a while back about someone wanting to set up a google maps page for AZB members or pool tournaments, but I couldn't seem to find the right keyword to get any relevant results.

For those of you not sure of what I mean, take a look at www.gasbuddy.com. You enter in your address and it shows you the locations of the nearest stations on google maps (plus the gas prices).

It would be neat to have something similar where we could enter in tournaments, rooms, etc and have them come up on google maps.
Did anyone come up with a page that has the poolrooms in google maps?
Has anyone made any steps towards this?

I posted a month ago asking this. I saw a site, mls.ca, that allows really cool searches. I thought it would be nice to have tournaments listed the same. I got one poster that replied with something like it for the south U.S.

When you search an area on the mls site, it fills the map with little red dots that allow mouse over and gives the house details. It would be awesome for events.
 
A friend of mine did one for a message board we belonged to. It was a map of North America and everyone that registered was able to enter their name
on the city that they lived in. A mouse over a particular city revealed a pop up that contained the message board members name. So yes, it is possible to do one that you want. I'll try and contact her tomorrow and find out what you have to do to make one.
