AZer's... who "NONPRO" breaks the hardest

There have been umteen threads about what pro breaks the hardest, and it inevitably spirals into "the hard break is dated and impractical"... I KNOW THIS

Just for funsies... anyone who has the breakspeed app... what is your best break. With complete disregard to the results, or where the cueball ends up... let's break some lights, and send whitey into orbit.

whatcha got boys?

mine was 31.4mph (prior to back injury)... now is about 29.8

When I hit 21 with the solid hit and pop, I normally get murmurs from the pool room and people looking talking. That's all I get.

dont know how hard i hit but the other night i popped the rack so loud the guy keeping score said it hurt his ears.

an i am a midget with a bad arm.

If you want to get a faster speed result trying breaking from the center of the table.

I can get up around 28 mph, but I prefer to break at around 16 to 18 mph. Curiously enough, I rarely have the ball fly off the table at any speed. Being accurate at elevated speeds is very hard, so I shorten my bridge up as much as I dare while leaving enough distance to generate as much power as I can.

So yeah, 17 mph is breaking like a bawss for me.

What's the actual name of this break speed app? I found one that says powered by predator, says it's $4.99 is this the right one? No free ones out there?
Thanks,
Tim

Why "non pro"?.....
I'm not seeing what difference that would make, or is this some sort of hidden competition for positive reassurance reasons?

How much is it the breaker vs break cue? I only ask because I never had a top break cue. A buddy traded me a Jacoby breaker and there is a huge difference in my break. Can't even break like I use to. I have to lay off or the cue goes flying.

Glad you asked that question.... A normal playing cue with a super hard tip at best will transfer about 80% of your speed to the cueball... With a break cue like the mezz or bk2/3 your transfer will be close to 90%...

If you swing the cue at 30mph your break will be 24 with your player and 27 with a real break cue.... With a soft or medium you may hit 18-21....

The speed depends on the breaker AND the break cue...

It's a guy thing... like golfers seeing who can drive the ball the farthest.
I went to a golf charity event and they brought out this professional "long driver" guy to put on a little show. He hit 3 amazing drives (one hit the fairway and was about 365 yards) and afterwards, I asked him if he was playing in the competition today and he told me, "I don't play golf, I just hit drives."
