Im new to back hand english and haven"t used it long.Once i found my
pivot point on my cue and practiced it for awhile,i have had great results.
The only problem i have now are shots that have a great distance in between
the cb and ob and i have to hit the shot easy.If i use outside im over cutting the ball if i use inside im hitting the ball to thick .Do stay away from
Bhe at long distances at a easy speed or do you need still adjust for the
inside and outside english at slower speeds with long distances in between
the cb and ob.

Like Johnnyz86 said, that's "swerve", a gradual curve that happens on all sidespin shots, but you only notice it if the shots are longer or you hit them pretty soft. To cope with it, make sure you keep your cue as level as possible and for shots where it's noticable either hit them a little harder or simply adjust your aim.

Lots of good resources on this topic, with answers to your (and other) questions can be found here:

I aim to swerve,

you do have to adjust the pivot pount for the speed you play. If you don't, then you will miss alot of shots, as the difference in pivot point can be huge.

On my cue:
Very very slow shots = pivot point around 15"
medium shots = pivot point at 10"
Power shots = pivot point at 4".

Everything in between i either use the rule of 3, or i used to draw lines on my shaft for each speed so i always had the right pivot point (after some months i didnt need the lines anymore as i know by experience where they where). Search on the forum for a graphic from Colin where he plotted speed vs pivot point.

The CB-OB distance also changes the pivot point but not so much as speed.
Keeping your cue as flat as possible like it has been said, will take care of most of the swerve that happens on long CB-OB distances.

You dont need to adjust your aim, just adjust your pivot point. If you could play all shots with only one pivot point, then everyone would be using it. :D
PErsonally i prefere to adjust my pivot point, rather then my aim.

If you can master BHE, you have a very powerfull tool. Don't give up on BHE, took me a year to really master it, but now 0% deflection is heaven to play with. :D OFten players tell me how, WOW, that was a hard shot to play with that much english. I always reply them: not harder then with a centerball hit... They never get what i mean...
