Back pain while playing

Another Possibility is uric acid level, (hyperuricemia) which when levels are high enough, is known as gout.
Drink good amounts of water and see a doctor and get gout pills. Depending upon your age,
uric acid levels from drinking alcohol, red meats should be cut back on. Toes, ankles, feet, knees and back can
be effected by high uric acid levels. 100% cherry juice mixed with water (yuck) is a natural substance that can
help also. Have your uric acid level checked at a doctor and have some pills on hand.

I have used a few creams for back pain and the one that worked best for me was the CBD cream from Joy Organics . I rub it on my lower back before I start playing and it takes the edge off the soreness. It does not fix the problem but it makes it more manageable. A back brace might help for short periods but you need to stretch and strengthen your core.

band aids don't help just set you up for a final giant back problem.

lose lots of weight or you wont be around long enough for it to matter. for some strange reason i don't see many old people that are fat. i wonder where they all went.

since you are tall you have farther to bend over. cant do anything about that. learn to shoot more up right. just because its better for the pros to get down low. let them be in pain when they get older. pool isnt worth that.

many top players shot fairly upright. i do and never had any kind of back issue. but im just one example which doesn't mean much.

good luck on this and dont let your game ruin your golden years.

My back hurts like MF.. getting an ablation in 2 weeks. However I feel ok when playing pool. Played 3 hours of bumper pool today. Go figure.

Watch long haul truck drivers when they get out of the cab. The first thing they do is STRETCH BACHWARDS. It gives quick relief. So without any underlying back problems, stretch backwards 5 or 6 times for about 10 seconds. This will stretch the other set of back muscles that are the ones that really hurt. My doctor prescribed it. It works.
