Back shoulder alignment

Hello.
I have a problem and perhaps someone here can help me. When I take a photo of me standing at the table my shoulder is next to the head, not behind it. When I look at all the pros 99% of them have shoulder and head aligned. I've really tried very hard to fix it but however hard I try I just can't make it. Any hints would be appreciated.

So are you standing more square to the table, like a snooker player?

Just trying to get a picture of what you are describing in my mind.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
No I don't. Even if I stand completely sideways, even with my legs in same line parallel to the shot I still can't make it;
This is what I mean;)

I'd bet that your arm isn't hanging down straight, that it's tilted under your torso.

Why cover your face? Are you a secret agent? Are you embarrassed as to who you are? Are you running from the cops? Do you owe someone money? Are you worried your friends might laugh at you for asking a question?

the last one;)
Yes, by arm in not straight and I thought that was due to the shoulder being not aligned with head...

I appreciate your honesty, but if you care what others think then you will never be a strong competitor.

Your arm is probably tilted inward because your back foot is outside the line of the shot. If you're right-handed, that means that your back foot is too far to the right. It's a hard habit to break because when you make the adjustment by moving your feet to the left it will feel totally foreign and you may feel like it's an adjustment you can't make. It's up to you whether or not you are willing to endure the discomfort of change.

Thanks for the reply. I was pretty sure I put on the right place but will pay special attention. Thanks for the tip;) I will do whatever it takes to fix it;)
