I am one those that dont play for much, 5-10 dollors. the other night, as i was playing this guy cheap sets, a local A player walks up to the table and wants to bet 40 on the guy im playing. Thats nothing to a lot of you, but still out of my comfort zone and he knows it. we match up pretty even, so i try something new and take the bet. I end up winning. "A" player now wants to play me to get his money back. Although he could probably give me the 6 i dont ask for anything and agree to play him so he can get even. I figure it will chalk up good experience with a better player and maybe improve my game. Into the first game he asked about the next set for forty. I told him i would still play him after this but it will be for less money. Drama starts and he calls me bad action and never wants to play again? As i think about it, it seems to him its about how much money he can win off me. to me its more about the game and expierance. Great players who like to bet high, dont want to play good players for a little. Then again, maybe im wrong.
