bad experience with platinum billiards

i like doug's idea and i'll do it either today or tomorrow. i'm probably going to try to find some books or something so i'll post another thread asking for some suggestions.
 
just thought i should update this, its been a while but i went ahead and ordered again from platinum billiards and had a much better transaction. communication was great and the items were shipped the very next day. items were recieved and everything went smoothly. thanks to platinum billiards for the great transaction.

I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with us.

Your order was delayed due to the July 4th holiday as I was off from July 3rd to the 7th and then your order shipped on the 8th (all this would have been avoided if we had shipped it on July 1st or 2nd but unfortunately we were backed up with orders at the start of July and never got it out until after the holiday)

I have been behind on voicemails and emails and did not get around to responding to your call on the 10th or the email you sent on Friday the 11th. However I did see this post and wanted to respond here.

I apologize again for the fact the you had a bad experience and I understand your decision to not use our site again.

I would however like to say that I have just refunded your full purchase price including shipping of $40.32 and for you to please keep the items you received with my compliments.

yea it has earned some loyalty with me and i'm sure others on this site after reading, which is why i wanted to make sure i posted this update to let everyone know not only did shane make it right the first time, he made sure it went smoothly from the start on my second order.

seems like an honest guy, i wouldnt hesitate to order from him again.

You know I had the exact thing happen with them on the exact dates, I didnt say anything until know because it was a large order, I ordered 9 Szams, 4 Bushkas and 3 pieces of tan Master Chalk to test hit them with. I sincerly hope they fufill my order like they did yours, on their nickle. Thats great customer service!! :smile: I'll post a report on how good the cues play, I'm sure it was just a mix up. ;)

Yes, I am very sorry about that. Please keep all the cues with my compliments and I wired your money to some friends in Chicago and they said that they are mailing your refund check by Fedex, it should arrive any day...promise, if it doesn't I am sure the issue is with Fedex but it will get there eventually, just wait in your driveway for the Fedex truck to show up, they should be there any day now :D If for some reason it doesn't show up, we will start making payments. How does $20 a month sound? :wink:
