  Geez I am watching a replay of the US Open finals and those damn bag pipe players went on for ever. At about the 15 minute mark they panned the audience and everyone there looked like if they had a gun they would either kill the bag pipe band or themselves. I hope this match is worth watching after sitting through that hellish nighmare, thank god I can watch the WSOP on tv and mute that laptop until Shane and Ronato actually start the match, which I am sure will not take as long as the pre match ceremony.:( :(

You should try playing while that is going on! Once as the the visiting APA team at an Irish Pub I was playing my match on the front table by the door when a steam of people started coming in followed by 3 guys playing bag pipes! They continued to the back of the room but that god awful sound continued for at least 15 minutes and all the while the juke box kept on blasting. Silence never sounded so good as it did after they quit playing.

During World War II, as any vet will tell you, the sound of the bagpipes was one of the most welcome and emotionally uplifting noises a soldier, including very many American GI's, ever heard.

I am personally isssuing a Scottish Fatwa on anyone and everyone who slags off the bagpipes. Be afraid, be very afraid! :p :)
