Balabushka Cue Authentication

Hello. I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

My father purchased a custom cue directly from George Balabushka in the 1964 or 1965. He still has it, and is considering selling it. He'd like to have it authenticated first. Do you have any suggestions? I've heard of two names - Pete Tascarella and Gus Szamboti, but can't find listings or contact information for either of them.

A couple of years ago someone on ebay was asking around $10,000 for their authenticated Balabushka - just an fyi as to asking price.
 
Please don't tease us... at least post some photos so we can salivate over the cue!!!

My suggestion: pass the cue down through the family!
 
i would use bill schick to authenticate the bushka
prices vary greatly depending on condition and the amount of work.
 
I would recommend Pete Tascarella...I believe thats how you spell it. Contact Fast-n-loose on this board. He probably has Pete on speed dial.
