Balabushka identification

Good afternoon guys.
This is my first post, nice to meet you all.
A friend gave me today an old balabushka cue.
I searched online to find its value,but i couldnt find this particular model.
Its very old from what my friend told me.
I took a photo of it,but i didnt think to take more from better angles.
Can anyone tell me which model is this?

Ι left the cue at the place where i practice, i will post more photos if you need them in a couple of days,cause i will be out of town.

That cue is an Adam/Helmstetter Balabuska tribute line.....not the real thing. Probably made within the last 10 years or so and worth $200-400.
 
based on the minimal amount of your cue pictured i don't think its a bushka

what is the lenght of the butt sleeve

butt cap

diameter at bottom of butt cap

plse take better pic of trim rings

entire forearm

shaft insert

joint and joint screw

edit to add that Joe and Sean solved the mystery while i was gathering data

A guy who plays with a balabushka told me this might be a GB4 but i couldnt find it in the site.
Now that you told me its a 4,i looked it up on google and saw the same cue.
is there any chance this is a replice?
The guy that had it before told me it was made back in the 90's.

A replica of a replica? Its a GB-4 line cue from Adam Balabushka line. Nothing more, nothing less, value, maybe a few hundo.

They were a line of production cues made by Adam/Helmstetter in Japan after George Balabushka passed away. They are not replica's - they are a "signature" line which is a marketing technique. This one is probably 13- 15 years old or so.

They're good playing cues but I wouldn't say they are collectible.

A replica of a replica would be if some company copied the Adam GB4.
Or would that be a replica of the original?
You know since we passed the legalization of pot here in Colorado I can't think straight anymore. :eek:
 
Νοτ sure what a replica is in this case .
I saw it on ebay but very expensive.
I will post some photos if I manage tomorrow.

Not sure what you mean by "replica", do you mean a "replica of a replica?". It's not one of the original ones that are worth thousands, the Balabushka name was just used for licensing just like the Polaroid and Westinghouse TVs are now, those TVs are not actually made by Polaroid or Westinghouse, some Chinese companies just paid to use the name.

When you say "old" cue, we're talking 70s, 60s, not the 90s hehe.
