Well someone fell for the ole GB date under the wrap gag... second I wonder which Berry Szamboti verified the cue... Rasp or Blue, or in this case Dingle...
I have only seen one other loser spell Berry Szamboti and all I can say is if this is the same guy I hope he gets banned, or canned so we can have Canned Berry Szamboti.

In my personal opinion it's a Gus blank for sure and a great cue... so overall I'd say it is most likely just as advertized. You can fake a lot of things, But that is a vintage Gus forearm so it lends a great deal of legitimacy to his description. I'd love to have that cue in my collection.
P.S. I am now doubting it's authenticity as a Gus blank. If not it's not worth a whole lot of $$

I could not agree more. But it is a vintage Gus blank in my opinion, and made by a hell of a good cue maker. I would never call it a "George Balabushka cue" without a proper letter from Mr. Tascerella, But I would love to to have the cue all the same. I suspect it is an attempt to authenticate a Balabushka with a poorly done inscription on what may well be a Balabushka anyway?

The weird thing the last couple years George made cues there were some that left his shop that didn't follow the "normal" known GB look... Could this be one of those cues?... Letter or not everything looks quality to me...
