if he got nutted up it sounds like he got scared, he needs a broker that wont rape him. I agree with you, he is scared shitless and needs to make the best of it and dosent know how is my guess. Or he isnt right.

When you get old and dont have any way to make $$$ your mind plays tricks on you, my uncle is set-i set him up, he owns his house free and clear, i bought him a brand new car 3 years ago(need a freash on next year), he has a couple hunderd G's in the bank and he gets nervious every month when they mail him a bank statment, he got a parking ticket and acted like his house was forclosed on. He wont come off a dime because of the depression mentality and fear, he thinks everyone is out to get him. Case is he is set and I have his back. If the guy really threatened to call the police because they wanted to see the cue something set him off or he is nuts. Getting old sucks. Even when your set the fact you have no shot at making anything must be scary when you think about it, hell I couldnt get a job now and i'm 41. Difference is when you get old you dont think right.
