So we go from a purple 4 ball and an orange 5 ball, to a pink 4 ball and a purple 5 ball?

The pink 4 is ok.

The problem with the purple 5 is the 4 was purple for 100 years. So we are all used to seeing the purple ball as the 4th ball.

The 4 has been pink in pro tournaments for close to a quarter of a century.

Even when the commentators DO know which is which, I STILL cant follow the action when they only refer to #s. Maybe if they said: “He’ll shoot the pink, and then likely get position on the violet, and maybe use the orange or brown to break”.
