There is a thread about ball return vs. drop pocket tables I am just curious about the %.

I wish my table had a ball return rather than drop pockets. I hate having to walk around the table in order to gather the balls for the next rack and it's not because I am lazy. In all actuallity I can't see a single reason why any table would be made with drop pockets.

when i was going to order my table, a buddy told me he was not going to play at my house if i did not get ball returns, so my brunswick dealer ordered my table with ball returns. about a year later the plastic pieces of junk started splitting and falling apart. i took them out and installed the plastic drop pockets that came with the table. about a year later same thing. SO i finally found a craftsman and had leather pockets made to fit my table.
i will never own a table that doesn't have leather drop pockets.

For what...everybody that is pro- ball return is right, those who vote drop-pockets are MO-RONS!
Humm maybe you should take a look at that thread to seems some fairly intelegent people like drop pockets for several reasons. To me I like them both equally, there are pro's & cons to both. Seems as though it is about a 50/50 split that in and of itself MIGHT tell you something.
I have evaluated the situmation and can confirm everybody that is pro- ball return is right, those who vote drop-pockets are MO-RONS!
