Ball roll on new felt

OK so my new table is in and playing great. Except for one minor issue.

When very slow rolling the ball (any ball) the ball will very slightly move in a s pattern as it rolls to the target. My thinking is maybe the cloth is not tight enough and it's rolling up in front of the ball as the ball moves towards it's target. Or maybe because it's new. I dunno.

The Cloth is 860. (green if it matters)

The ball does not veer to one side or another as if the table was not level. It just tracks very slightly left to right, left to right. etc. as it rolls

Anyone have any Ideas? If it matters the table is a New Brunswick.

Does the ball swerve near the side pockets? If so the cloth will relax a bit as the humidity gets to it.

Ya know.. I have hit the ball length wise from the outer diamond. I will go try side to side and in the middle of the table also just to see.

But I notice it all the way down the table but starting near the side pocket and keeps doing it the rest of the way down. (or up)

Yeah over time the cloth will even out. On the table at the pool hall you mentioned that the cloth was shiny that is due to the age of the cloth and the oil and such on the cloth.

Dartman's right. It very well could be that the cloth has been stretch unevenly creating waves in the grain of the cloth. Having no nap to the cloth, balls are much more to be affected by worsted cloth when it's stretched unevenly.
