I have no problem with these pool balls, they are ok.
Get over it.

I am interested in your coining that phrase and how it came about.I improvise, adapt, and overcome with the best of em... I actually coined that phrase for the military back in the day... but I still wouldn’t use those balls by choice. Nooo no cocobolo C. No indeed
Adjacent to refuse is refuse! (Even if it still has the little doily on.)It was ABOVE the rim!
Winning.

That's definitely something to be proud of.Winning is evil in new Politically Correct world, no one wins. Everyone gets participation trophy.
Was what I did at work, nothing much ever went to plan.
You either made the best of what you had, worked with what you had, or failed.
Failure was not option.
I have a couple of scratches that I can feel on my new aramith tournaments. Never been dropped so not sure where they came from. They do get daily play for around 90 min or so. Have them for about 4 to 5 months so far. What I have learned thru owning a ball return table is even the best designed return systems are hard on balls. The duramith technology is no exception to this rule.Does that mean you can’t feel them?

Whoever donated these balls (for tax purposes, no doubt) instead of throwing them in the trash made a wise decision.
The thrift store that accepted the balls at no cost and chose to offer them for sale using court ordered labor at little to no cost made a wise decision.
Two out of three ain't bad.
This. The throw on these must be bonkers.A: I have no concept of everything.
2- I do know textured pool balls will not play like normal ones.
Now, regarding things you might or might not know...sub surface: what is it?
Scratches on my came from finishing nails holding my pockets to the table. I actually have some black duck tape they I cut into small squares and layer over them. Mostly un-noticable, but needs to be done a could times a year just from the tape wearing out as balls hit them.I have a couple of scratches that I can feel on my new aramith tournaments. I laugh all the time at your illiteracy and failed attempts to spin your NPR political agenda into the main forum.I laugh all the time that the AZB Experts know about something they have never seen, touched, or played with.
They are like MSM who repot News, but never leave studio. So they are just news readers, not reporters, or journalists.
We are discussing what happens when textured surfaces collide, vs. when smooth surfaces collide. It is pretty basic.I laugh all the time that the AZB Experts know about something they have never seen, touched, or played with.

Permatex makes some gasket sealer called "Right Stuff". Its very durable and strong, I often use it to bond things together (along with its intended use) Thats probably what I would try if I was having this problem, I would think an 1/8" thick layer over the fastener head would take care of the problem and last a long time.Scratches on my came from finishing nails holding my pockets to the table. It's a generic 8 foot slate home table. Not a diamond or a GC with counter sunk screw holes for the pockets. I cold probably rig up a solution, but I'm just not that motivated these days...
Diamond pro AMWhat kind of table?
Everything on the table is soft... wonder if it is part of the ball return?Diamond pro AM
Nah just the cue ball. It's only a couple of marks. I'll keep an eye on it. Next time my mechanic is doing work on it I'll ask him. I can not see anything sharp anywhere.I doubt it is the ball return unless there is an exposed nail along the way. Are you hitting object balls with a phenolic tip?
The shiny centennials at the hall actually throw me off! I can’t always tell if the rack is tight because of the glare off of them. They roll straight, so they work. Don’t need 500 set of centennials to practice.
