Bandido's cues

Thank you Cardinal Syn, Raislin and Gerald. The cues that you see weigh from 18.5 oz. to 20.5 for 8Horses. Shadows in the Jungle weighs 19.5 oz with the 4.35 oz. ER240 shaft.

Thanks, Chucklez. It is a lot of work but I do enjoy what I do and thus find it very relaxing. My cues reflect the state of my physical, emotional and mental being that is why all (except for my "Classy RoadWarrior") my cues are one-of-a-kind. If you noticed the photos here and the ones in alpha-billiard, no 2 cues look exactly the same. Add to that the fact that they're handcrafted, then, each and every single cue has its own character. Thank you again for the kind comments.

Very impressive. All done by hand - no machining of the cuts for the inlays...sounds like an awful lot of work to me..heh

Thanks for sharing your work with us

noh

Here's one that's coming soon. It still needs a wrap and some hand polishing. I tried to stitch together the butt sleave design to show you the roll-out of all the scrimshawed masks design. I will post the full cue photo 2 days from now.

Bandido/Edwin Reyes Cues

I happen to have read this Forum and other bulletin boards and I am amazed that there are people using Edwin Reyes cues.

These are very expensive cues here in Japan.

Japanese professional players, or other good players in Japan - no one is using this cue....

But apparently some people are using them in the bulletin boards/forums.
How much did you guys buy them?

There was ad in the Japanese billiard magazine some time ago -
an ad of Alpha International that said -
Edwin Reyes cues-
the price was about an equivalent of more than 10,000 US for one cue with ivory... then below the 10,000 price- it said- sale price - 7,000 US dollars...

there was another cue in the ad too - but it was too expensive for me to remember...I was surprised...

So, you guys playing with his cue are sure rich -yeah?

A plain cue of Edwin Reyes - is sold in Japan for more than 2,000 US dollars...by the same shop. Only Alpha sells this cue.

Is Edwin Reyes in the same class/ level as Gina cues? Unbelievable?
Who is Edwin Reyes? Is his cue really that good? How much did you guys buy the cues? Where did you buy them?

Blue, all of the Edwin Reyes cue pics that are here have been posted by Edwin himself.

Mike, Blue knows exactly who I am by just reading the post here and if he's a pool enthusiast in Japan he could have already met me. Ive got a feeling deep down inside that there's something maliscious behind his post but I'm used to it because it comes with the territory. He may be a cue dealer in Japan that really hates the exclusivity arrangement that I have with Alpha since 1997 that Alpha and I agreed on with a handshake and not with a legally signed document.
Like I said, it comes with the territory and I'm still in the kitchen!

Hey Blue,
I encourage you to try create a better product to beat me instead of resorting to using "LOSER" methods. Or is fair and square not in your blood? I'll bet you that you can't even stand in front of me and look me in the eye.

He posted the very same thing in EPT and here's the last end of my reply to him too.

I've got you and your intention busted, Blue. I've checked with Alpha and no cue at this level ($XX,XXX) was sold/advertised on sale to the public as such are sold on private sales ONLY to private collectors (the only ones that spend this much) aside from this being priveledged information. Didn't you know this fact about cue collecting and trade, Blue?

I think it's time to quit feeding the trolls as he'll only muck up this site.:o :p

What are the woods in Deriks cue? It is a real pleasure to be able to see these cues. Keep them coming. I'm starting to get that urge again.

Gerald, it's double stained fiddleback maple. Here's the full view of the Noh masks cue.

Here's a photo of a nearly completed solid ivory joint protector for the "Stay Away" cue that has the Tigress and cub scrimshaw (see cue in the 7th post of this page). This cue is the first in the series of cues whose theme is the chinese zodiac. It still needs a clear coat finish on it.

And here's the joint protector for the "8 Horses" cue ( second and 15th post in page 1 of this thread). The JP was rendered in solid ivory and just needs a clear coat finish to complete it.

Is your cue series on the chinese zodiac already completed or are you still in the process of designing them?

The Chinese Zodiac series, of which "Stay Away" (Tiger) is a part of, has a project time frame of 4 years as it is composed of 12 cues. One for each animal. I am presently working on the "Dragon".
