BANK and KICK Effects and Aiming ADJUSTMENTS

Running side is very important with multiple-rail kicks; but, IMO, center-ball is more reliable with one-rail kicks. Any slight error in the amount of side has a big effect with one-rail kicks.
Ditto (unless it's a stun hit with measured running english).
Isn't a rolling CB with no side spin much easier to produce than a stunned ball with the exact amount of natural running side required for gearing? Many one-rail kicking systems (e.g., 2-to-1 through diamond and mirror systems) are built around a rolling CB with no spin for this reason.

My point is in the context of applying under spin in order to take advantage of the effects of it for a single rail kick bank as Dave showed in the video is, in my view, harder to consistently utilize than with straight side spin across a range of shots.
I agree with that.

Wait, are you saying if the cue ball with under spin, will rebound the same as if it had top spin?
Nope - just that each will have the same effect as usual with or without side spin (plus the effect of the side spin, of course).

Yes, of course. I meant that a sliding CB kick can be managed predictably, even if less often.

Agreed. "Can" ... but not accurately and consistently, practically speaking, especially is sidespin is being used.
