Hi Eydie, Is it still going to be set up if a bank match conflicts with a 8 ball or 9 ball match you have to choose which one to forfeit? I'll probably sign up for the banks anyway. Just curious. Sounds like a great week. I currently have 4 people coming with me, 2 that came with me last year and 2 newbies. Recruiting more players and I'm sure you'll fill up the events. Get those entries in or come and watch.. Sam

Sounds like a good time.Hopefully I will be able to come up and partake in the festivities.Eydie , you and Bob have established yourselves as class acts just from our interaction here on the board. So i know your tournies will be just as good.Let me know when you get the dates for the One Pocket.Thats the one im really looking foward to playing in.Thanks

Hi Eydie
Is your one pocket tournament of 7 footers as well? Good luck. Ill try to be there.

Hey Guys,

The One Pocket tournament will start the evening of Wednesday the 6th of October. I don't have the completed format done yet, but hopefully by the beginning of this coming week I will.

The 9 Ball and the Bank tournament will most likely conflict.

Wednesday will be packed with venues from a golf outing that begins at 10:00 am to the One Pocket and the Bank event.

The One Pocket will be on 9 foot Diamond Smart tables.

Thanks guys for all your good wishes, both Bob and I really appreciate your support.

Eydie

Sam,

Bob just told me that the Bank tournament will NOT conflict with the 9 ball, BUT WILL conflict with the One Pocket.

So, now you have 3 events to play in that will not conflict with each other. On the other hand, I am not assuring you much sleep over the weekend. (smile)

Eydie

Hey we just did Vegas. Theres not much sleep there either. I can't wait for summer to be over. What am I saying, I hate working out in the cold. Sam

Well I just checked with the powers that be and i will only be able to get the 8th-10th off.So can any one say Minis? lol Let me know please when the Mini info, if any comes available.

Ive never seen Banks played on a bar table. Is this common in some places? Doesnt the game change a lot?
Also too bad the Banks come in conflict with the one pocket contest as many great bankers are great one pocket players and vice versa.

Banks on a bar table is played with a nine ball rack. They call it a short rack.

As of now, the bank tournament is slated against the one pocket, and it is the only way we can make it work. Trust me, I wish it could be different, maybe next year.
