I think the "safety" break is the strategy you are looking for. Try to hit the outside corner ball on the bottom of the rack with outside english. You are trying to hit it as thin as you can.
If done correctly, the ball you hit will hit the bottom rail and come back to the pack. The other corner ball will go to the long rail and back. The cueball will go three rails and be frozen to the head rail. It is a straight pool break.
Even if you hit the ball a little thicker, with the right cue ball speed, your opponent will have a straight back bank with the cb frozen to the rail, most likely a sell-out.
