in louisiana......Jamie Farrell is the top gun, and I think I play a pretty sporty game of banks but no one ever plays it or really wants to play the game here.......
we played it a little bit up in tulsa but only a handful of guys and David Strawn is one of the best in Oklahoma at bank pool.......now i've never seen Joey Grey play just banks but i think the guy banks very well in onepocket and should play jam up in plain short rack banks as well.

I'm no good but I love banks! Don't know who is the best here. The only people who'll ever play with me are fellow bangers! :grin:

We have guy's that can't run a rack of 6-ball starting with BIH but are a threat to run 8 and out playing banks.

yea,, plenty of them
There are a few more close to there too. Dee Adkins banks pretty sporty, and Jerry Conkel can play a little bit too {although he is a tad under those listed.} Indiana has a couple, Mark Jarvis, Brian Gregg, and theres a couple of younger guys who have been playing pretty good across the State too.

It's all good.. It's easy to misconstrue a persons intention when posting words, as I've often been misunderstood myself.
I think the OP was just wanting to know who played strong banks in their area as well as other areas. I don't think knocking anyone's action was intended, at least I can say that was never my intention.

But everyone listed by us, are pretty well known, except maybe 2. So, I don't believe anyone was getting knocked. Unless it's some new kid, just coming out of his home room, to try going on the road alone, the line is pretty easy to get on all the above.

i agree...pool is a small enough world as it is as far as action goes...im sure if an unknown walks into a pool room looking to play banks the majority assumption is gonna be that he at least can play a little bit...JMO
