Bank results at DCC

Heading into Rd 13 scheduled tonight at 7 you got four left:

Omar Al Shaheen (1) v Josh Roberts (1)
Billy Thorpe (0) v Skyler Woodward (1)

Need Thorpe to lose one tonight so we can at least get three matches on the stream :D

He looked real strong in that last match vs Woodward.

This was always my favorite part of DCC. I'd love to see these four guys go at it! They all have their own unique style and way of playing, and all are great Bank Pool players.

Some pretty strong medicine there! Billy ran three and out to win the second game and then opened up with five and out to close out the match. He ran eight banks at the end! Shades of Jason Miller.

I know Truman Hogue ran 13 (2 5-and-outs followed by a 3) against Shannon Daulton at DCC several years back, is that still the DCC record?

Why the smirky emogi at the end? You're from Dayton - I can't think you would not have respect for 2 Dayton players - especially Miller, who was mentored in banks by Gary Spaeth. If there was real money in pool, Jason Miller would have been one of the top players in America for the last 20 years

That was a compliment to Jason, and Gary and his dad were good friends of mine. Billy showed flashes of the form that Jason, Gary and Truman Hogue were capable of on a regular basis.

To put things in perspective though, Eddie Taylor ran 37 banks in a long rack match! Try that on for size. Right up there with Mosconi's 526 imo. Personally I watched Taylor throw all 15 balls on the table and bank every one without missing in practice. He told me he had done it several times before. I doubt that anyone living has ever done that once!

Brian Gregg did it at the DCC on the TV table.
