Hello Everyone! I hope the rest of 2010 was great and I hope the first part of 2011 has been even better. I have been very busy in my personal life and have been working on details for some events.

I am happy to announce first and foremost that you all need to reserve July 30-31 on your calendars for this year's State Tournament. I am still working on getting sponsors for the event but I wanted to get the date out to everyone.

Secondly, there are 2 events coming up in the near future in Virginia Beach that are US Open Qualifiers that I thought you would be interested. They will both be held at Q-Master Billiards, Barry Behrman's poolroom.

June 11-12 Bar Table 9 Ball $100 Entry - 64 Players max - 16 spots paid based on a full field.

I checked with Barry Behrman today and he confirmed that you DO NOT need to be a Virginia resident to play in this event.
 
the payout doesnt even equal $6400

damn there is $6400 taking in and it isnt even paying that out......
will there be a calcutta , side pots , or players auction??

That is correct. You DO NOT have to be a Virginia Resident to play in this event.

To my knowledge, there will not be a calcutta at this event.

couple of questions

how many players are signed up or expected to be there? what would the payouts be if the only 25 people showed up? just curious because i may drive out for this but dont think it will have 64 at a $100 entry fee

who all from here is going to this????

Just a bump to the top.

If we have 32 we'd pay either the top 8 or 12.

I know that there are several folks from Richmond.

Since it is not limited to VA residents, there should have a good turnout from bar table players.

I am running the big table event next weekend at Q-Master.
