BARBARA? Who was looking for an Airline Safe Travel Cue Case?

i wonder if u take those guncases, if u could buy one with a foam that hasnt the holes digged out to put a gun. Just a fully filled foam u can use to cut out the size of the cueparts yourself? If not, how do u keep your cue stable in those large holes? and u sure a cue fits in those holes?

Thanks Sleuth!! But really the gist of my question really was to solicit how traveling pool players travel with their cue and which option they preferred - shipping ahead of time or taking it with you and checking it in as baggage.

I have the means to get a travel case such as you described here, but unfortunately it doesn't make me feel any more comfortable checking it in as luggage on a plane.

The Foam is waiting for you Knife, and Custom Cutting....:)
 
Solartje - You can buy replacement foam for most cases of that type either in a solid sheet, or in what is called pick-n-pluck foam. Where the sheet of foam is made up of cubes that you pull out to form what shape you want. Almost every case I have ever seen the foam comes uncut, unformed.

Google pick-n-pluck foam and you will find it.
 
hehe ok :) was wondering. Almost no one has guns in my country.

People already think im some kind of mafia boss when i cary a cuecase around. This case should keep me out of trouble. They look greath, not to expensive. (but what do i care :) ill never play a international tournament anyway. )

I might be a little late, but I prefer to take it with me. I haven't had a problem to date, but I've got a business trip coming up soon that I will be taking my cue........ to Louisville, KY..... on the exact weekend of the DCC.....

God give me strength to have a safe flight with no harm to my cues... :D

Why are you carrying a cue case around? I didn't think you owned a cue yet.
 
i use the cue of my trainingspartners boyfriend when going to training. Its those snooker cases. They look like mafia cases. :D Evol.

im not training in my karaoke anymore. I met someone on the national pool forum , a woman from finland, who livess nearby, and whenever she has time to go training (not so much as she has 2 kids) she'll give me a ride, and i can use her husbands stuff if he stays at home with the kids.
