So, a little story......
Back in March at the expo, I picked up a cue that looked like this
IMG_0481.jpg

After a little disagreement, it was smashed into a concrete patio and broken in two. Pictures to follow.

After speaking with Cory, a few minor changes were made. Ebony forearm instead of African Blackwood and 1/2" ivory joint instead of 3/4". It is the top cue in these two pictures.

I can't say enough about Cory's work and how personable he is and how well the communication was. I will post a review in the review forum, and will add updated pictures once I get her in my hands.

I have always liked segmented handles, but wasn't keen on how it flowed into the butt end. I think this variation on the segmented theme works great. Another thing I am contemplating is a variation of the hoppe. I was thinking of getting a chrome bolt to replace the bumper, and using Cory's ring work as the symbolic hoppe.

Enjoy

Wait a minute? You were arguing with your cue? Man this game truly does go to peoples heads:joyful: But then again if the cue deserved to be punished you did the right thing.

I've punished a few of my cue's over the years, it happens.

Why take it out on the cue?...Just have a friend punch you in the face next time you miss a shot...

Disagreement

To clear the air, it wasn't me smashing the cue. Let's just say it was a casualty of war in a rare occasion with the misses. Concrete patios are a lot harder than cue wood.

Here she is

Well, she showed up in the mail today. And, all the shafts are at least 4oz. That's right, I said at least 4oz.

I can't say enough about Cory, his work and this cue. The journey for me to get her has been long, but worth the wait.

I feel for ya brother, lol. I had my wife threaten all kinds of stuff with my cue's cause she knows just how much they mean to me, but she never ever went through with anything like this . But really they dont mean half as much as she does to me ! But I hope she never reads this  It might go to her head !! <<ED
