Mr. Asman is interested in the ?sleek, sexy success behind the WPBA? and wants to know what it is about Women?s Professional Billiards that people love. Being a business news network, he?ll also ask Jennifer?s opinion on what strategies she as a player uses that other professional women could take note of and apply into the business world.
For her part, Jennifer is excited at the prospect of discussing Women?s Professional Billiards in the context of business, ?It's an honor to represent the WPBA on a nationally televised program, especially because the program respects the sport of billiards as a serious business.?

I checked my guide (Cable Vision) and found nothing named America's Nightly Scoreboard for Friday the 16th. Oh well.

The whole interview was designed to show off Jennifer in a bikini. It wasn't really that pool-related, because she hasn't accomplished anything in the sport.
It reminded me of one question:

Anyone seen Anna Kournikova lateley?
 
This goes to show you, as with anything else, it's hard to sell pool without boobs or beer.
 
Last night, Keith was surfing the TV and came across a pool table scene. It was the show with the three sisters, Kadaskians (sp) -- I can't remember the name -- and their stepfather is Bruce Jenner. One of the girls has, for lack of a better word, a large rounded rear end that seems to be her claim to fame! :o

At any rate, the three sisters were at a pool table party that was being thrown by an African-American rap singer, whose name I can't remember.

And there was Jeanette Lee playing pool with the party goers, along with the rap singer, his friends, and the three sisters.

I read in the smut magazines that the sister with the infamous rounded rear end gets $30,000 for party appearances, and her sisters get $10,000 each. I wonder what Jeanette Lee got for playing pool at this rap singer's party!

At any rate, whoever are Jeanette and Jennifer's agents, they're doing a good job getting them a little TV exposure! In the end, that's good for pool! :)

Boy oh boy, I couldn't imagine what makes looking at any butt worth 30,000; but I wanted to find out so I did some googling. That butt is too big, much too big... Kim Kardashian butt shots ... lol.

As to the interview, I thought it was very ineffective.
 
Did they ask her when the movie was coming out, when are the DVD's that everyone paid for are coming out? Johnnyt

6 figures playing pool? Would have been funny if she said, most are starving and the ones that look good are making a living pimping them self to other sources of income... such as playboy, trick shot shows, advertising etc. My male counter parts are screwed, they have to shoot really great to make anything and even then it isn't much.

That would have been a good interview about professional pool.

Pimping is a little strong, but they are really lucky they look great and can make a living because of it. Pool is just their marketing tool or edge over other (just above average looking) women. Too bad the same chance isn't their for the men. A guys edge is be great so you can charge for lessons, gamble and finding someone with $$ to open a room with.

Frustrating as hell thinking about a game I love and knowing it offers nothing for a living/life. I can sit here on the computer, make up a screen name, and win $200,000 playing poker. Someone could practice for years win the 9 ball worlds and not even a mention in the papers, espn, tsn etc...

Not much wonder Alex moved from Canada when he won the worlds. Nothing here in any papers or on TSN (sports channel). He is treated like a proper athlete in the Philippines. His only other option would have been a nip or tuck and some titties... then hope he looks good with long hair.

JAM - Wassup! I think the Kardashian pool shindig that you saw was hosted by Kim's (big butt gal) boyfriend Reggie something or other. He's a pro footballer? Anyway, I believe it was in New Orleans and I also believe that there was a piece covering it in last month's or the month before last's Blilliards Digest.

The review was a little harsh. Like many people will say, any exposure pool gets is good for the game. I don't think she made herself look foolish or anything. I don't know if poker has helped pool at all though.

I want to see FOX interview a male player and ask if they make six figures like Mrs. Beretta does. They might say something like, "well, I have only been on the tour(former tour) for six years, but I am sure I will hit six figures for career earnings in a few more years if everything goes good."
 
She was awful plain and simple. Granted, I can't stand Jennifer as I've found her to be one of the most unfriendly, unapproachable people in this industry, but if she gave a good interview I'd give her props for it. In this case though, the lady really needs to take a public speaking class.

On the up side, I was very happy to see that she pimped her sponsors. That is exactly what she should have done and other pro players should take note of her willingness to do so. Too many players think that a sponsorship is nothing more than wearing a badge, which is why so few companies are willing to pony up lettuce for player sponsorships. Seyberts and OB should get some nice mileage out of the interview and Jennifer rocked it out for the people that pay her way.

Thanks for the info. You are right. They were talking about a New Orleans visit, and Kim does have a boyfriend.

Imagine Keith surfing the TV and stumbling across a pool table scene, and before he changes channels, there's Jeanette Lee. :D

He called me in the living room, "Look, there's Jeanette Lee." Keith and Jeanette have a history of a gambling event between them, before Jeanette rocketed to fame. He spotted her and a partner in a gambling match, and when it was all over, after she won tens of thousands of dollars, he and his stakehorse were broke. Keith then asked Jeanette for a jelly roll, to which she declined abruptly and exited the premises.

Today, the two of them are friendly when they see each other, but Keith has never forgotten that Jeanette Lee didn't give him that jelly roll. :p

Keith's pool etiquette is quite different than the average player today, but when Keith busts a player, at least when I have been with him, he always gives them a jelly roll for stepping up to the plate and giving him action. The first time I saw him do it with our dough, I was pissed off that he was giving away our winnings, winnings that could have been a loss for us, but his reasoning has always been that you never leave a pool player broke.

The girl with the rounded butt gets $30,000 for appearing at parties. Keith may get a Budweiser when he makes an appearance, if he's lucky! LOL! :D :D

That is the way I look at it too. They could have given Jeanette a little more air time, though.

If the rounded butt sister gets 30 dimes for making appearances, surely Jeanette Lee must have gotten a nice chunk of change for being there. I am sure the attendees enjoyed playing a pro.

It was a good move on the boyfriend's part to have a pro player there. I'm sure Jeanette Lee will always be a favorite for appearances, such as this, because of her good looks. Girls do have more fun sometimes! ;)
