Barry Szamboti Cue on eBay anyones thoughts please

The seller (Markley Billiards) is a pretty well-known room in SE PA. They state in the ad that they were the one's that originally ordered the cue in 1998 - I would assume they know what of they speak. Nice cue but it really looks USED. It appears the linen fiber is visible in the beauty ring of the one shaft - unless that is just poor photography. $12.5K seems a bit "dear" to me, but then I'm not up on the going rates for a Szamboti - Barry or Gus. All I know is that Brabara plays with a Barry and someone is going to have to pry it from her cold dead hands - although I suspect she'll be buried with it.

yeah.. markey billiards is only about 15 minutes away from valley forge expo center... they used to stock all kinds of high end cues ... i know they even recently had a few black boars left over from when they were dealers for them over the years.. ago...

i believe this auction to be legit.. and i am sure.. anybody can go there and see it before buying..

Markley Billiards is legit. They're in Norristown about 10 minutes from the SBE site and they have sold high end cues in the past with no problems.

And Pizza Bob, I'm leaning towards cremation :eek: , but I will spare the cue. ;)

That cue has been in there for some time now. It actually isn't up for auction it is For Sale with a $12,500 buy it now.
