So what's up with all the bathroom breaks at the U.S. Open? Apparently players can take as many as they want during their matches??

It's a joke, momentum is an important part of pool and some players will be taking tactical breaks.

Incorrect, they did delay the match a little bit in some places. If you watched the live stream you would know that.

I guess you are right. But they held the players up after just about every tv break making them wait until they were ready to go. It wasn't very well organized it appears coming in and out of the breaks.

At one point svb seemed like he was catching a gear and fedor started a 20 min conversation with the waitress to try to take him out of his zone. Jk not quite that bad.

What about non-televised matches? Who's fault would it be then for taking multiple breaks and holding up the match?

I'd be surprised that happened on the non TV matches. But if it did I'm sure the rules would have been enforced. Like I said, the TV matches were mishandled. Either don't do commercials on live streams or record live, drop in commercials and then broadcast.
