Two veterans of the Joss City 9-Ball Tour and its Turning Stone events met twice in this past weekend’s (Sept. 6-7) $5,000-added, inaugural Battle in the Basement Open 8-Ball tournament, which drew 81 entrants to Forest City Billiards in Portland, ME. If you are ever in Maine, stop by Forest City Billiards. Tyson Trepanier was playing in the Maine APA when the old American Billiards in Portland came up for sale. Despite not having an experience related to running a pool hall, Tyson bought it and has done a wonderful job updating the place. New felt, cushions and lighting for every table. Replaced a few tables as well. Great place!
