God chance I'll be heading to Sunnyvale, CA for the summer. I've checked out google, but y'all have better info than they do. Anywhere in or around Sunnyvale with good equipment, tournaments, etc? Probably head to Hard Times for some big weekend tournaments if they have them. Any info is appreciated.

There's a pretty good pool hall in Sunnyvale but it's more leagues than action. Just across the Bay is California Billiards in Fremont which has some action and quite a few tournaments. Hardtimes is about two hours. The have 9 ball and one pocket every weekend for about $25 entry. Family in San Francisco is worth a visit. Jimmy's in Milpitas has five heated carom tables along with a bunch of Diamonds. There's a room that just reopened in Berkeley that has weekly tournaments in 8 and 9 ball -- the Break Room.

Great news! Thanks, Bob. Now if you can find me a place to stay for under $2,500/mo I'll be all set.

A brief look on Craigslist shows some at about that price but the short term might be an issue. There used to be fairly good month-long deals near Sunnyvale for corporate travelers in hotels, like Extended Stay America. If you can deal with sharing a house, I see $1500 or so. Around the colleges like Stanford there may be summer sublets.

I have/had a couple across the bay in that price range but I think the last one will be leased Monday. That would be a hellish commute for you anyway. Although the google/Facebook/whatever bus does pick up a few blocks away.
