Is bonus ball dead........ I hope it is..... so we can move on....
BB had some good intentions behind it but went about it the wrong way.......... you don't necessarily make something completely new but maybe build on something that already exists.
I think a better approach would have been to use 8, 9, and 10 ball games with the regional teams........... also the alternating shooting is a bad idea...... i hate playing scotch doubles for that reason... there is no flow of the shooter from one shot to the next... make a nice shot and them you have to go sit down....dumb!!!
Fans ... and there are many many fans of the pro players... male and female.... fans like to watch their favorite players shoot and run the table........... not shoot and then sit down while someone that they don't want to watch shoots the next ball.......... dumb!!!
The facilitator of BB had some good ideas as well as a profit for himself....... but it went in the wrong direction............... people don't want to watch a game that they have never played and would need to buy a $200 set of balls to play it. .... dumb!!
I believe that the employees should take over the company and take it in the right direction.... I know that the are not all senseless pool players....even though some see them as that..... I hope the pros see the opportunity here and grasp it......... do it for the game.............
