BCA email ?

I received it from the IPT with the usual headers on the email. The listed original sender domain is constantcontact.com. I would assume that someone at playbca.com forwarded the message to you.
 
thanks for your reply, Bob. I was beginning to think no one reads or cares that something weird might be going on. I haven'y contacted the BCA yet to see if this is legit.

and no, it wasn't a forwarded email. the reply address was a "no reply" one, so I may just call.

as little as I trust KT, this may be some of his latest handiwork; trying to legitimize the "new" IPT by sending out announcements with a bogus BCA heading...??

scam artists have always been able to send legit-looking stuff with fake email addresses,,,,,,,,

I can't believe any organization that might even be remotely guarded about their public image would lend their name to any IPT/Trudeau venture ! :eek:

There's some confusion here. The email in question has headers on it that appear to come from Playbca.com which is a privately-owned amateur league. It is not the Billiard Congress of America (BCA). The OP misspoke.

As for the BCA making rules, that is no longer the case, so you can stop being mad at them for that.
