Just wondering if anybody is going to give a live game by game recap from the BCA Finals which I believe should be happening right now?

update

dennis got 2 great rolls i guess, and made an early 9! shane dry broke!!! dennis 4-0! dennis breaking!

update

from what i hear dennis missed good! shane gets the hit, but leaves dennis out! dennis5 shane 0! shane breaking!

This is only a race to 7 right? If it is, it would be a minor miracle for Shane to bounce back and win the title with an alternate break format opposite a player of Orcullo's caliber.

If this is alternate break, and a made for TV race to 7, then it's all over but the shouting...

Congrats Dennis!

I agree with gopi. I think it is all over but the shouting. What happened to Shane in this game? I did not expect this massacre!!!!

update

dennis wins 7-0 shane didnt have much to shoot at from the way it sounds!
congrats to dennis on his victory! and congrats to shane on his runner up finish! i look for these two to lock horns again! sooner than we may expect! like later tonight on the box maybe!

didn't hohmann beat johnny 7-0 last year in the finals? in a short race with alternate breaks it really isn't that surprising, all it would be is 3 dry breaks or 3 breaks that u made a ball and couldn't make the 1 if u didnt break first, win or lose this will be great experience for shane and likely help him get over the hump of winning a major title in the near future

Congrats to both players. Why do they shorten the race when they edit it for T.V. anyway? It never made sense to me that the whole tournament they play to 11 and then go to 7 for the last few, and most important, matches.

Thanks for the updates.

Congrats to both players. First and second place in that field of players is still world championship caliber play.

-Shane

Congratulations to Dennis Orcullo for winning 7 to 0 in the finals in a very strong field. He must be high in the confidence level right now and will be a favourite to win in the next tournament which is the 10ball Championship. He was able to bounce back from his humiliating defeat against Yang and show the world that he is still one of the best pool players we currently have. This is the mark of a true champion!!!

Credit should also go to Shane who was able to place 2nd. I think he just ran out of gas in the final game.

I wouldn't call Dennis' lose to Yang a humiliating defeat. So, did Shane also get humiliated in his defeat to Dennis? It you don't get a good shot, then what can you do? Learn how to flip better???

Just say "Heads I win, tails you lose" whenever you flip. 90% of the time it doesn't work, but when it does, hilarity (and sometimes violence) ensues. :D
