Here's a tip for folks who'd like to see one of their favorite overlooked pool veterans get nominated to that "special category" that Bob mentions but, are helpless to compose a fulsome bio . . .There is a special category for overlooked veterans. If you feel strongly that such a player should be recognized, then put together a good bio for them. If everyone does nothing they are sure to remain overlooked. "He played real good and beat a lot of people and everyone knows about him," is not a sufficient bio. Send the bio to Mike Panozzo.
. . . virtually any old timer great can be found on Wiki, along with many linked articles about him/her at page-bottom.
And from all those -- often colorful -- details found in-total therein, you'll have a very acceptable, easy to assemble bio that will be readily acceptable to Mike Panozzo (I get hungry for my favorite Saturday night menu items just typing Mike's beautiful name).
Arnaldo ~ I wasn't born Italian but I became so, via my love for Lanza and Franco Corelli and the wiseguys in sharp suits who virtually lived in the luncheonette around the corner and in my Brooklyn neighborhood's poolrooms.
