Bca league payouts ....how much should the div. Rep get

Of course she is Jerry. Haven't you seen the trend the APA is using now recruiting a lot of the top female pros to either promote or buy franchises for the APA. Liz Ford is the latest in Vermont. Gotta keep the uneducated, unsuspecting newbies at awe with the APA & it's top notch professionals.

I will agree that Eva has definatly aged well over the years though. She always was a beautiful woman and the times I have met her a class act to be around.

Wow.....some of you CAN'T read.........THIS PERSON IS NOT A LEAGUE OPERATOR
ONE MORE TIME THIS PERSON IS NOT A LEAGUE OPERATOR!

A league operator owns and runs the league in his or her area.....

This person is a REP and this one has only 1 night 12 teams and they are 3 person teams.....22 weeks

IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT YOUR 2 CENTS IN ......KNOW HOW ADD......

If he is getting paid he obviously had the OK from head office to run the show. The title LO or not he was running it so he might as well have been listed as LO. If you don't like how he ran it just don't play, pretty simple.

I have a question. Is this person the League Operator or not?? lol

Or are you referring to the person that keeps track of records, stats, monies and answers any questions about the league? Because if they don't do at least these things,,I think the LO should get the money!!:D

Toe-ma--toe or Toe-mott-to????:sorry:

OMG.....NO. this is not the league operator

We spoke to another team that played last summer....they told us the percentages that was paid out that session.....this isn't close to what was paid out this time.

You are right we do have a choice..... from what has happened we are not playing again....

From the start I just wanted input..... some of you got it and helped ......and some of you can't get a grip that this is not the league owner or operator.....this person had two things to do..... pick up money and score sheets and input stats...

1. For the last time this is not the league operator
2. We were told percentages that changed
3. This thread is done (thank you for your input)

Speaking of the slow, 20th century method of picking up score sheets and the cash, is there an IPhone app yet that could do this for the leagues?

The app could keep the score, x-fer the money, etc. and save the ops a bunch of trouble and money.

I'm not sure

that every team would spring for an Iphone even if the apps were there.

After further reading and feedback from you that the guy is only a league representative, and exactly what he does, yes that is way too much money.

Let me ask you, what does the league operator and league secretary get?

He should have kept 6000.00 and paid out 336.00, just to put up with you whiney so and sos............

Really, people rarely see what it takes to put these things together and make them run smoothly.

If you think he made too much, start your own show....see what it actually takes in terms of time and effort and having to listen to the moaning and groaning. JMHO

Well said.

Sounds like the OP should volunteer to do the job next season for a much reduced pay out. We are often quick to say others get paid too much without asking if we would or could do it just as well for less compensation.

Amen!! And you know I speak from experience. ;)

So he worked 22 nights for $1386? One night a week for 22 weeks is 22 nights, but how long did he have to work each night and what were his expenses? You said it's a 3-man team and 12 teams so that's 36 players he had to input data for.

If it only took one hour per night then that's $63 per hour. That's pretty steep.

If it took three hours per night on average, he's down to $21 per hour. That's probably still a little high.

If he averaged 6 hours per night he's down to $7 per hour. Now he's underpaid.

How much gas did he use to run around and how much wear and tear on his vehicle? If you have a few places for him to pick them up at, does he have to go to each one time per week and how far apart are they?

For 36 people I wouldn't think it would take more than an hour to input the data each night. It probably took another hour to go by the three places and pick up the packets. $20 bucks in gas for travel. Sounds like he was making about $20 an hour to me which isn't too bad but maybe a little high for something like this. IMO his pay should have been around $900 for the season.

Don't forget, he has to drive to the bank each week, pay for paper, toner (a printer maybe) to print the scoresheets that each place uses all 22 weeks, envelopes, rules, any packets, etc.

Oh yeah, and he's not the League Operator, he's just a Rep, so he probably has to give 60% to the league operator, more or less, as they own the franchise is that area.

He already posted the Rep doesn't do all that but he could be wrong.
