The once-a-year BCA Open will occur on May 15-21, 2005, in Las Vegas, which is also filmed by ESPN.
Last year, Tony Robles won the men's event, pocketing $15,000. Karen Corr won the ladies' event, bringing home $15,000.
Although it is titled the BCA "Open," I really don't view this as an "open" tournament, but there are 8 qualifying tournaments held around the country, giving 4 men and 4 ladies a shot at a free entry fee, worth $500, and hotel expense monies to compete in Las Vegas in May 2005.
In the men's event, the 64-player field is made up of 32 highest-ranked UPA Touring Pros, and the remainder of the field is reserved for players from other countries AND four pool players who win the BCA Open qualifiers held before this event commences.
There are only THREE more BCA Open qualifiers left, and here they are:
