My buddy just got back from the show, as he is a Shade Tree Pool Cue & Accessory Dealer. He said there was a Cue Maker from China who put a GRANITE ROD the Full Length of his Shafts, and these inexpensive Cue hit like a Million Bucks, but he forgot the name of the Maker... Other than that the Show was a BUMMER Mostly Furniture, Spas, and little about Pool.. With the Exception of a good Verity of Tables....

suspect it might have been carbon fiber

Atlas makes a shaft blank with a carbon fiber rod down the center. Sounds more likely than granite but I suppose anything is possible.

Typo?

Probably Graphite? not Granite. There are different variations of this cue on the market. We have a house cue version that is not getting warped with everyone abusing them in our billiard parlor. So far they are pretty nice.

That is about all I know. I did hear it was the worst showing of the BCA show in years. This is from some of my suppliers that attended the show. There is a big controversy at BCA about when to have the show. All the import companies prefer spring. All the shoppers prefer summer. Guess this year it sent a message if no one showed up.
